SPOKANE VALLEY -- Spokane Valley Police say a total of four people were arrested in connection with a home invasion robbery at an apartment complex in the 12400 block of East Mansfield.
Police say around 11:00 p.m. Monday night, two men broke into a woman's home and assaulted her, including hitting her over the head with a gun. Police say they stole electronics, including her television, laptop and cell phone among other items. The woman did not require medical attention.
A deputy caught up with the getaway car and arrested a woman and two men. One of the men arrested, Darius D. Toussiant, 18, was believed to have been one of two men who broke into the apartment. A fourth suspect, who they say was carrying a gun, ran from police.
That suspect was arrested shortly after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Spokane's Lower South Hill. Glen Akers, 20, was arrested after Spokane's SWAT team used tear gas to make him come out of the residence.
