SPOKANE--Tom’s Tailgate will be a little different for a special event on Friday, October 23.
Valley Christian School is playing its first home football game since the death of player Drew Swank last month.
Swank died a few days after taking a hit and suffering from brain swelling during a Valley Christian game on September 19.
Because of that important event, this week only Tom Sherry is not having you vote on the game that Tom will attend.
Instead of voting, Tom Sherry is asking you to click on Tom's Tailgate on KREM.com and leave your message of support for the Swank family and the Valley Christian team.
As part of Tom's Tailgate on Friday, Tom will present those messages to the school and the family live during KREM 2 News at 5:00 and 6:00.
