PULLMAN, WA-- The test results are in from the Washington State University Veterinary School on those meatballs that killed at least three dogs on Spokane’s South Hill last week. Some of those meatballs did test positive for the deadly pesticide strychnine. The poisonous meatballs were the ones found in the area of 55th and Regal. However, the meat found a couple of days later in the 900 block of East 36th did not contain any poisonous substance. Authorities are still searching for whoever is responsible for leaving the poisonous meatballs. A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
