Pinehurst, ID officer cleared in ethics investigation

PINEHURST, Idaho--A former captain in the Shoshone County Sheriff's Office has been cleared of any ethics violations by Idaho's Law Enforcement Academy.
Mike Gunderson is currently a reserve police officer in Pinehurst, ID.
Gunderson resigned from the Sheriff's Office in 2003.
That's when an 18-year-old girl told investigators she had sex with Gunderson while he was on duty.
He was never charged with a crime and has now been cleared of any ethics violations.
