SPOKANE -- Washington State Patrol reports a man died when his pickup collided with a logging truck on US 395 Monday morning. It happened at 5:40 a.m. near the Spokane/Stevens County Line.
WSP says 25-year-old Jesse L. Crayne of Colville was killed when his Toyota pickup crossed the center line and hit a logging truck. Crayne was extricated from the vehicle and flown to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, where he was pronounced dead. WSP says his pickup was going too fast and crossed over the center line.
The highway reopened shortly after 10 a.m. Monday.
