SPOKANE -- A former Washington State University student left unconscious and bleeding on a rural road in Pullman is now out of the hospital.
Kristen Grindley has been discharged from Sacred Heart Medical Center. Whitman County authorities say she fell or was thrown from a vehicle last month.
Authorities have been waiting for Grindley to improve before interviewing her as part of their investigation.
