SPOKANE -- A Spokane small dog rescue is finally back open after a fire ripped through the owner's home last fall killing several dogs.

The Dachshund Rescue Northwest is the only rescue for the breed in our area.  Saturday, the director of the shelter held a weiner party to celebrate the re-opening.

KREM 2's Othello Richards has more on how the rescue managed to get back in business.
