POST FALLS, Idaho -- Two teenagers have been killed as a result of Tuesday night's wreck on I-90 in Post Falls.

16 year old Destiney Moore and 17 year old Michael Martinez, from Great Falls, Montana, were killed in a multiple car crash, that started when the SUV they were passengers in crossed into oncoming traffic.

KREM 2 News has learned they were on their way to Seattle so Destiney could undergo a dialysis treatment. She died at the scene, Martinez later died in the hospital.

Destiney's mother, Tracy Moore, 34, was driving the SUV. She and a five year old are also in the hospital facing life threatening injuries.

Idaho State Police say the SUV was hit by three oncoming cars in the eastbound lanes of I-90.

Two people in a red car, 57 year old Marcia Thomas and 75 year old Richard Thomas were both taken to Kootenai County Medical Center. Marcia was then taken to Sacred Heart, at last check around 6:30 a.m. she was in surgery. Richard was taken to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle and we're still waiting for an update on his condition.

The driver of a pickup truck with a plow on it was also taken to the hospital, 27 year old Evan Kinnick. We're told he was treated and released.

And there were four people in their 20s driving in the fourth vehicle. No one in that SUV was injured.

Everyone in this wreck was wearing a seat belt.
