PINK AVOIDS LISTENING TO POP MUSIC

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) -- Pink would rather create pop music than listen to it. Pink says when she's recording music, she stays away from the popular stuff, which she admits is funny since she's a pop star. Her other gripe: a lot of pop music has a techno influence. Pink says it gives her flashbacks to her past and makes her want to grab a glowstick. Pink's new album, "The Truth About Love," is out this week.
