GEORGE JONES SAYS NO TO HOUSE AUCTION

UNDATED (AP) -- George Jones won't be giving up his property to the highest bidder. His 78-acre property was up for auction, but when all the bids were in, Jones didn't think they went high enough. No one met the opening price of $1.5 million. The highest bid for 43 acres of his estate was $660,000. Jones had final approval of the sale.
