CARRIE UNDERWOOD: 'I AM A STRONG FEMALE'
Credit: Getty Images
UNDATED (AP) -- Carrie Underwood doesn't consider herself a feminist. That's because she says the word can have a negative connotation. She tells Bang Showbiz that instead, she thinks of herself as a "strong female." She says her parents raised her to be pretty independent. She grew up as basically an only child because her sisters were a lot older than her. Underwood says she thinks that contributed to how she handles herself in her personal and professional life.
