DARRIUS HEYWARD-BEY: OAKLAND RAIDERS RECEIVER CHARGED WITH DRUNKEN DRIVING

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- A DUI charge for Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey. He has been charged with misdemeanor drunken driving after his arrest last month after a traffic stop on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. A highway patrol officer says the NFL player was driving his 2012 Range Rover on the lower deck of the bridge on April 7 when he was seen speeding and weaving. Heyward-Bey failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. Authorities have not said what his blood-alcohol level was at the time of the incident. But his attorney says it's "a very low blood-alcohol level case." Heyward-Bey is due in court on May 31 -- and his attorney says he will plead not guilty.
