DOLLY PARTON TALKS ABOUT WHITNEY HOUSTON
Credit: AP
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP)-- Dolly Parton says she will always love Whitney Houston's version of her song "I Will Always Love You." Parton says she was driving in her car the first time she heard it and at first didn't recognize the song as her own. When she finally did, she was overwhelmed. Parton jokes about the money she's made in royalties from the song, since she and Houston recorded it, but she says when she heard it played at Houston's funeral, she thought her heart was going to stop. "It was overwhelming," she says. Parton performs the song along with other hits including "Here You Come Again" on her just-released DVD/CD set "An Evening With Dolly." The new album is being sold exclusively by Cracker Barrel.
