STORE COVERS UP JESSICA SIMPSON MAGAZINE

PHOENIX (AP) -- Even if Jessica Simpson was covering up her private parts, some customers at a Tucson Safeway pointed out she was still naked on the cover of Elle magazine. The April edition featured Simpson, who's pregnant, on the cover wearing nothing but her strategically placed hands. The Arizona Daily Star reports the manager of the store received several complaints, so a worker covered up the image with cardboard. A Safeway spokeswoman says it was just for that store, not company-wide. Elle released a statement saying they've received "an overwhelmingly positive response to Jessica Simpson's cover."
