GEORGE JONES HOSPITALIZED IN NASHVILLE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Country Music Hall of Famer George Jones is in the hospital. He has an upper respiratory infection. A statement from his publicist says the 80-year-old Jones was admitted to a Nashville area hospital yesterday. The docs planned to keep overnight for observation. He is scheduled to be released today. Jones is known for classic country hits, including "He Stopped Loving Her Today."
