KENNY CHESNEY TO PERFORM AT BENEFIT CONCERT

UNDATED (AP) -- Before Kenny Chesney takes on stadiums this summer for his "Brothers of the Sun" tour, he's booking some smaller gigs. Chesney will perform at a benefit concert for the disaster preparedness organization PLAN!T NOW. The benefit will be held in the Bahamas on May 26th as part of the Michael Douglas and Friends Celebrity Golf Tournament. Morgan Freeman is co-hosting the event. The organization has granted over $100,000 in scholarships to students who've been effected by severe weather. Chesney is also taking part in the Lionel Richie and friends concert taping the day after the Academy of Country Music Awards next month. The special will air on CBS April 13th.
