KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) -- Jason Aldean isn't quite ready to play stadiums yet, at least when it comes to baseball. He worked out with the Atlanta Braves for more than two hours Thursday during the team's spring training camp in Kissimmee, Florida. Aldean played first base in high school. He's from Macon, Georgia, and considers himself a lifelong Braves fan. Aldean was put through the paces, fielding grounders and scooping up low throws at first base. He also took a turn in the batting cage, knocking one clear to the warning track, and he joined the team for base-running drills. Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez called Aldean the best celebrity he's seen on the field, "by far." Even though Aldean didn't make the team, he described it as "a big honor" just to work out with them. The TV network GAC was on hand filming Aldean for an upcoming episode of "Day Jobs." It should air in the fall.
