Tourist in Your Town: September 23 - 25

A rundown of some of the things you can do around the Inland Northwest between Sept. 23-25!

Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out a few events going on in our neck of the woods.

Valleyfest – Friday through Sunday

Valleyfest runs through the weekend at Mirabeau Meadows. The festival has something for everyone including a car show, 5K run and even hot air balloons that fly over the park.

The event is completely free and family friendly.

Quick tip: Make sure you catch the free shuttle running between the Spokane Valley Mall and the park.

Oktoberfest at the River – Friday through Sunday

Back for its second year, Oktoberfest at the River is a great event for those 21 and older.

The traditional festival will feature German beer, food and live entertainment.

Manuela Horn, known for her yoddling skills and appearance on America’s Got Talent, will be performing.

Lost Egypt – Saturday through January

Lost Egypt is an exhibit that will be featured at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture through the first week of January.

The exhibit is hands on and features authentic artifacts, including real a human mummy.

Greenbluff Apple Festival – Saturday through October

The apple festival returns to Greenbluff this weekend and will continue through the end of October.

Visitors to the bluff can go apple picking, choose a pumpkin for carving and make their way through the corn mazes.
