He's just 'bout that (lights, camera) action, boss.
Seahawks star running back Marshawn Lynch - aka "Beast Mode" - usually shies away from the cameras, but according to The San Jose Mercury News, Lynch is set to star in a movie about himself.
The biopic, titled "Family First," will chronicle Lynch's childhood growing up in Oakland, California, his high school years at Oakland Tech, his college years with the California Golden Bears and his break and ascent to stardom in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks.
"Just trying something new," Lynch told The San Jose Mercury News. "I'm more than ready to play myself...I got the acting bug when I played a small role in Matt's Chance starring Gary Busey.I definitely want to expand my opportunities after football. I've also been on a couple TV shows, so I'm not nervous."
The movie will also feature NFL quarterback Josh Johnson, a childhood friend of Lynch who signed with the 49ers.
The rated PG-13 film is slated for release at the end of the calendar year.
