TENSED, Idaho -- Multiple fire crews responded to a fire early Thursday in Idaho at a historic building on the Coeur d’Alene Indian Reservation.

The brick building in Tensed appeared to be a complete loss with the inside of the building entirely destroyed.

Firefighters fought back flames at the Sister’s building near Highway 95 and Desmet.  It was built in 1880.

The Coeur d’Alene Tribal School superintendent said the building was being used for storage, but it used to be a boarding school.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
