SPOKANE VALLEY -- Orchard Center Elementary Principal Travis Peterson doesn't have to worry about combing his hair in the morning.  That is because he fulfilled his promise to have his hair shaved if his students raised $2,000.

Students rallied to the challenge and exceeded that goal.  They raised $3,011.52.  All the money goes toward the school's Penney's for Patients fundraiser.

Students got together Friday at an assembly to watch Peterson get his buzz cut.
