SPOKANE -- Flames engulfed a Browne's Addition apartment Sunday night. The fire could be seen from the front of the Mary Manor Apartment Building near Elm and West Pacific. It happened around 6:15 p.m.
It took 24 firefighters working in freezing conditions just 15 minutes to locate and put out the fire. Firefighters were able to contain the damage to one unit and prevent it from spreading into the adjoining unit, roof and ceiling areas.
Firefighters got every one out safely. One firefighters was treated by on-scene firefighter/paramedics for a medical emergency. That firefighters was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
