CHATTAROY-- A new generation of middle school students accepted Rachel's Challenge at Riverside Middle School in Chattaroy.
The program is designed to inspire kindness at schools across the country. The challenge is named after Rachel Scott who died in the Columbine High School shooting rampage.
Teachers said the school adopted the program last year, and the students have seen a difference.
Rachel’s Challenge has been so powerful; Riverside is doing what they can to keep its message alive.
KREM 2 News was told the school had to cut funding for the program out of its budget, but they're still teaching it.
