CHATTAROY, Wash.-- Some local high school students are inspiring elementary children to be kind to one another as part of a pro-kindness campaign called Rachel’s Challenge.
Back in January, the students at Riverside High School took on Rachel's Challenge. Recently they decided they wanted to do more than just spread kindness in their own school.
As part of Rachel's Challenge, Riverside High School students are reaching out to elementary students and hoping to spread kindness as a lifestyle.
The high school students act out skits they wrote themselves to the Chattaroy Elementary students.
The skits show what happens if when people are mean to one another, and how to be kind.
Teachers say the younger kids really pay attention and listen to the older students.
Students say they are already noticing a positive difference in the classroom and hallways.
The Riverside students hope that pro-kindness attitude will help guide these younger students through their entire education.
