NORTH SPOKANE COUNTY—As part of Rachel’s Challenge, Mountainside Middle School recognized 8 students Friday for their focus on compassion.
The students were recognized for their commitment to kindness and they're commitment to Rachel's Challenge.
Rachel's Challenge is based on the vision of Rachel Scott; that if one person goes out of their way to show kindness it will start a chain reaction of the same.
Students at the school say the program has helped their school greatly by reducing the amount of bullying they see every day.
