Several Inland Northwest schools accepted “Rachel’s Challenge” this week.
Rachel Scott was the first person killed in the Columbine shootings. After hear death, her diaries revealed her vision: if one person went out of their way to show kindness, it could start a chain reaction. Her lessons of kindness, not how she died, fuel the program, which promotes attendance and have proven to reduce bullying.
Many of the students have been sharing there feelings through social media.
