SPOKANE—In an effort to promote kindness and reduce bullying in their school; students at Centennial Middle School held a “Mix-It-Up” lunch as part of the Rachel’s Challenge program.

This is the kind of inclusive event members of the “Friends of Rachel Club” have organized since the school launched Rachel’s Challenge back in October.
School Counselor Tammy Rogers say she notices students catching themselves before doing something unkind a lot more since the school embraced Rachel’s Challenge.
