SPOKANE, Wash.—Gamma Knife is a specific type of tool that’s used to treat tumors that are in the brain, also known as stereo-tactic radio surgery.  Radiation Oncologists have been using the Gamma Knife to treat tumors in the brain for years now.

Doctors map out the tumor in the brain pinpointing the tumor to deliver high doses of radiation directly into the tumor while protecting the tissue around it.  For more information click here.
