Looking for a great burger for your next bbq? Try this recipe for a blue cheese bacon burger. It's easy to make. about 2 hours ahead of grilling time get some fresh ground beef and add some hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, crumbled blue cheese and my Tom's BBQ Rub for steaks and hamburgers. I also add a little Johnny's seasoning salt. Mix all together and let sit for awhile. For about 3 lbs of ground beef I basically add about 4 ounces of blue cheese and a teaspoon of the other ingredients. Don't get hung up on the measurements just add the amount you think will be good. Grill the burgers and garnish with bacon, onions, tomato and lettuce. I also use quality buns that I coat with a little butter before toasting on the grill. These burgers were a big hit in the newsroom. Enjoy!
