No Sauce Wings bbq recipe

What makes these wings different is there is no goopy bbq sauce. The flavor comes from a dry rub.
Dry rub
¾ cup brown sugar, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 2 tablespoons paprika, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper to taste.
3 pounds chicken wings.
1. Mix the seasonings together in a sealable bag and add the chicken.
2. Grill chicken on medium high and get the sugar to caramelize and then lower the heat to avoid flair ups.  Usual cooking time is about 20 minutes.  Make sure the chicken is cooked and avoid cross contamination by always using a clean plate to put the cooked chicken in.
Serve with potato salad or baked beans.  Makes about 6 small servings
