The Washington State University men's basketball team looks to get back on track this week when they host UCLA and USC.

The Cougars, who are now four games out of first place in the Pac-10 at 5-8, need a couple of wins to stay in the Pac-10 chase. The key will be playing a full 40 minutes of basketball (like they did at home against Arizona...not like last week's games against Stanford and Cal).

Wazzu plays UCLA (11-13; 6-6) on Thursday at 5:30pm (the game will be televised on FSN). The Cougars lost to the Bruins 74-62 in their first meeting on January 23rd. This time WSU opened as a five point favorite on their home floor even though the Cougs haven't taken down UCLA on Friel Court since 2003.

Washington State then gets USC (15-9; 7-5) on Saturday at 2pm (the game will not be televised). The Cougars took down the Trojans 67-60 in their initial meeting in Los Angeles.

As always, we'll have full coverage of both games on KREM 2 News and KREM.com.

We talked to head coach Ken Bone and guard Nikola Koprivica at practice this week. Click on their names to watch our uncut interviews.
