Former Washington State University defensive back Jason David will be glued to his TV on Sunday. He'll be watching for some of his close friends as they play for a Super Bowl title.

David, who played for WSU from 2000-2003, knows players on the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints. That's because he played for both teams in his NFL career.

Currently a free agent after a short stint with the Detroit Lions this year, Davis was drafted by the Colts in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played in Indianapolis through the 2006 season, winning a Super Bowl ring with the Colts in his final season with the team.

David then signed a free agent contract with the Saints before the 2007 season. He played in New Orleans through the 2008 season, but was released before the start of this year.

I interviewed David over the phone on Thursday. I asked him about his time with the Saints and the Colts and found out what it was like winning a Super Bowl. For the entire uncut interview click here.

David currently owns a physical training business in California. He also spends time with his charity Jason David's Corner Foundation. David says he is staying in shape and will try to get back into the NFL next season.
