SPOKANE VALLEY -- A local auto repair store is changing oil for a great cause.  All the work is absolutely free.  All they are asking in return is for customers to make a donation to Valley Meals on Wheels.

Clark's Tire and Automotive rolled up their garage doors Wednesday morning getting ready to get the first cars in line serviced.  Mechanics inside the shop are working hard moving the cars through.  They hope to change oil and wiper blades on at least 100 cars Wednesday and another 100 Thursday.

There are two teams going at a time with two people working on each car.  They hope the more cars come in, the more the dollars add up for the Valley Meals on Wheels.  The organization hands out about 450 hot meals every day to the elderly and disabled.  They say it's more than just food for these folks, it's the meaningful relationships they build.

The Clark's Tire and Automotive service is a $50 value.  But they are accepting any dollar donation or even food.  The goal is to raise between $4,000 and $6,000.  Clark's Tire and Automotive is located at 16010 East Sprague.  You can swing by anytime Wednesday and Thursday until 6:00 p.m.  They will also be firing up the barbecue for a fee lunch and you can even win some giveaways.

It is first come, first serve.  They open at 6:00 a.m.
