SPOKANE, Wash.- KREM 2 was able to collect several donations and Thanksgiving meals for families in need this weekend.
KREM 2 kicked off Tom’s Turkey Drive Friday, and Tom was at Rosauers all day Friday and Saturday collecting donations.
The drive was through Sunday this year due to bad weather conditions that prevented many viewers from being able to travel to grocery stores to donate.
Over 11,000 meals were purchased at area Rosauers. Cash donations totaled over $100,000!
For those looking to pick up a meal for your family, Tom’s Turkey Tuesday is on Nov. 22. All you need is an ID and proof of address.
All families are welcome to get their meal at the Salvation Army from 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
