SPOKANE-- The abnormally warm weather is taking a toll on a local Spokane business that depends on snow.

Neighborhood Fence runs a private snow plow business during the winter months, but this year employees are taking the heat for the warm conditions.

Every winter Clayton Angel plows for the company. He says this year he hasn't had any work and hasn't made a dime.

Owner Randy Spies says he has never seen things so slow and had to make some tough cuts.

On the upside, because it’s so warm, the company has been able to do fencing jobs.

While the extra work is good, Spies says it isn't enough to make up for the lack of snow revenue.

Spies says his company has only grossed about .10 of the revenue of an average year.
