NORTH SPOKANE-- North Central High School Alumni Anthony McCain just completed his first year at Oberlin College thanks to donations from the community, and he sang on Friday hoping for more.
McCain is one of the top baritone singers in Washington State. Last year KREM 2 News helped McCain setup a bank account so viewers could donate money to help him out.
Last year the community stepped up and helped McCain raise more than $950 during his family’s bake sale outside the Hillyard Safeway.
McCain returned to the Hillyard Safeway Friday to try and raise money for next years books, airfare and health insurance.
