SPOKANE-- Silverwood Theme Park near Athol, Idaho made its yearly transformation into Scarywood Friday.

Ghostly actors are set to haunt the park while the rides turn into scary adventures for Halloween.

Scarywood runs Friday and Saturday 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., Wednesday and Thursdays 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

There are four primary attractions to Scarywood and numerous ‘scare zones’

The 3-Dementia attraction is a new 3-D attraction. Blood Bayou is an indoor haunted attraction.

The Thunder Canyon raft ride has been converted into Terror Canyon Trail.

Steam Engine No. 7 has been converted into Zombie-Wood Express, a Zombie hunting machine.

The Timber Terror Roller Coaster will be running backwards.
