SPOKANE-- Malone’s owner thought he was gone forever, now the family wonders where he spent the past five months.
Malone is a one year-old miniature pincher. Last December He vanished from his home in Worley. Tammie Spottedblanket has been looking for Malone. She put up fliers and asked people all around.
Tuesday Spottedblanket tuned into KREM 2 news at noon and saw Malone featured on our weekly adoptable pet segment.
“I knew it was him instantly because his face, the way he looks, and I seen the collar on his neck, and it's the same collar I put on him when I got him”
Spottedblanket and her family immediately piled into their car and headed to Spokanimal.
A shelter worker found Malone wandering around northeast Spokane over the weekend.
Spokanimal told the family it would cost 80 bucks to get him back but a generous stranger stepped in and paid the fee.
Malone thanks that generous donor.
