SPOKANE-- A Spokane native killed in action will be honored at an Inland Northwest Honor Flight departure next week.
The next Inland NW Honor Flight is set to leave on October 3rd and return on Oct 5th.
Officials expect 34 veterans to be at Spokane International Airport around 8:15 a.m.
A special dedication will be held in memory of a Spokane native Jarrod Lallier, who was killed in action in June in Afghanistan.
PFC Jarrod Lallier was killed June 18th in Afghanistan when three men dressed in Afghan police uniforms fired on Lallier’s unit.
Lallier graduated from Mead High School two years ago.
Lallier was buried at Fairmount Memorial Park with full military honors.
Honor Flight officials said this will be the largest Honor Flight send off since the programs inception.
