FAIRCHILD A.F.B. - Airmen from the 141st Air Refueling Wing returned to Fairchild Monday following a six-month deployment to Afghanistan.

Family and friends welcomed home 31 members of the 141st Civil Engineer Squadron, who were stationed throughout the country to various installations, outposts and provincial reconstruction teams.

Their primary mission was to build and improve temporary facilities for Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors and Marines stationed there. In addition Team Fairchild Airmen worked directly with local Afghan leaders to help their communities build necessary infrastructure, like roads, schools and water wells.
