SPOKANE-- On Wednesday, the Inland Northwest Blood Center will be holding a special blood drive to honor Deputies Spink & Northway.

Deputies Matt Spink and Mike Northway were shot Tuesday by Charles Wallace during a traffic stop.

The Inland Northwest Blood Center is located at 210 W. Cataldo Ave. Hours of donation are from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Members of law enforcement, fire, and county personnel including dispatchers and 911 operators will also be able to donate blood.

Officials anticipate being able to accommodate between 150-180 people during the event.

Members of the public interested in supporting the deputies are being strongly encouraged to donate during our Community Wide Blood Drive on July 2-3 & 5-6.
