SPOKANE-- Several dozen young people are ready to head back to school thanks to Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest held a Back to School Blitz on Saturday.

The Back to School Blitz provided the opportunity for 91 “Littles” (children being mentored through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program) to receive some free clothes and school supplies for the upcoming school year.

Each child received a $100 gift card to Fred Meyer to purchase school clothing.

Adult volunteers teamed up with children to be their “shopping buddy” and helped them pick out some great clothes.
Each child also received a backpack full of school supplies.
