Fourth of July - Riverfront Park
July 3-4. Independence Day festival. Non-smoking event, except designated area, no animals allowed, adult beverage gardens. Tuesday: Six Foot Swing, swing dance lessons, The Air National Guard Band of the Northwest Concept. Fireworks at 10 p.m. Wednesday: Spokane Jazz Orchestra, free Children’s Meadow by Numerica Credit Union, First Night Rising Stars Stage, and fireworks display at dusk by Larry H. Miller.
Cost: Free admission/viewing of fireworks; $8/reserved seating for fireworks
4th of July 5k Pennant Run
Participants will run through the beautiful campus of the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center and finishing on home plate. There are three divisions: the 5K Pennant Run, a 1K Kids Run, and the Little Sluggers Dash which is free for children three and under. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 1K, while kids in the Little Sluggers Dash will have the chance to run with OTTO the Mascot around the bases and enjoy snacks and fun activities following the race. Proceeds go to the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life.

Fourth of July - Coeur d’Alene
Parade begins at 11 a.m. at 15th and Sherman. Festival in the Coeur d’Alene City Park all day. Fireworks over the lake at dusk.

All day ice cream social and celebration at the Coolin Civic Center. Fireworks at dusk at Hills Resort at Luby Bay and Grandview Resort at Reeder Bay on the lake.

Fourth of July - Harrison
Live music in the park with The Powell Brothers from 4-8 p.m. then enjoy the fireworks from your boat, the docks or the city park at dusk.

Fourth of July in Pullman
Family events, children’s activities, food, various vendors, live entertainment beginning at 5:30 p.m., and fireworks at dusk. Free bus transportation to the park is provided by Pullman Transit. Buses will begin running at 4:20 p.m. and continue throughout the evening. The buses will run on their regular A, C and H routes and will stop at several park and ride locations throughout Pullman. For a complete list of the park and ride locations, visit the Pullman Chamber website at www.pullmanchamber.com. During the alcohol-free event there will be no personal fireworks allowed in the park, including sparklers. Please leave your pets at home (other than service animals).
Fourth of July in Sandpoint
Parade downtown in the morning, followed by afternoon stage performances at City Beach and fireworks over the lake at dusk.
Fourth of July - Greenacres
Hosted by the Greenacres neighborhood. Highlights include a children’s parade around the park at 11:30 a.m., family games at 2 p.m., potluck picnic at 5 p.m., a concert by Face to Face at 6 p.m. and a family movie at dusk. There will also be free ice cream, prizes and live music. Bring your own blankets or chairs.

Fourth of July -Silver Valley
Firecracker 5k Fun Run 7:30 a.m. registration, race begins at 9 a.m. at Kellogg Middle School, 800 Bunker Avenue. Kellogg Elks pancake breakfast from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the lodge. Parade at noon in downtown Kellogg, day-long fun includes music, food, games, and swimming pool followed by musically-choreographed fireworks finale at Silver Mountain at dusk, viewable from downtown. Free trolley rides from Pinehurst to Wallace from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. then will resume at 10:30 p.m. after the fireworks.
