SPOKANE, Wash. – A Wind Advisory has been extended until 5:00 p.m. for many areas of the Inland Northwest.


Winds are expected to be out of the southwest from 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 40 miles per hour.

The strong winds can make driving difficult. It could also cause power outages due to downed trees and tree limbs.

There have been a few reports of downed trees and power lines Sunday afternoon.
