SPOKANE, Wash.— After a break from the cloudy and wet weather Tuesday, the rain returns to the region Wednesday.
The next round of precipitation comes from a low-pressure system off the coast of Washington and Oregon.
Snow totals in the Cascades will be in the eight to twelve in range. The northeast Washington and north Idaho mountains can expect up to six inches of snow.
Rain will continue in the lower elevations Wednesday and Thursday.
There will be a break from the rain Friday and Saturday, but wet weather will likely return to the region Sunday.
