SPOKANE, Wash. -- The morning brought a very wet snowfall to Spokane.
Accumulations were minimal in the city. Surface temperatures are just warm enough for the snow to melt as it hits the ground.
This afternoon transitions to a rainy forecast in the valleys.
Watch for rain on the evening commute. At times, the rain could be heavy enough to cause poor visibility and slick conditions for the evening commute.
A Winter Storm Warning extends through tomorrow for NE WA mountains and the Cascades.
Heavy mountain snow will continue through tonight.
Light snow expected in CDA and Spokane overnight.
