SPOKANE, Wash. – The coming days look relatively free of snow with scattered showers across the Idaho panhandle and mountains.

Saturday morning brought temperatures in the low 20s with freezing fog warnings. You can expect sunny skies and partly cloudy conditions at night for the rest of the day.

On Sunday, there is a 10 percent chance of showers during the day with a slightly higher chance of snow or rain showers at night, according to the National Weather Service. Monday also brings a slight chance of showers.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Spokane will see sunny skies. Thursday and Friday will bring a chance of rain showers.

Despite the drier conditions, temperatures are five to ten degrees below average for the weekend and into the work week. Highs will remain in the low to mid 40s.
