INLAND NORTHWEST – Severe weather will move into Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho on Thursday.

Central Washington saw stormy weather early Thursday morning with 31 recorded lightning strikes by 5:30 a.m.

Severe weather is expected across the region Thursday. 
Thirty-one lightning strikes were recorded in Central Washington by 5:30 a.m. Thursday. 
A flood watch is in effect until further notice for the Kettle River near Ferry. 

A cold front will move in across the Inland Northwest between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Storm activity will become severe across the region in the late afternoon.

Thunderstorms and lightning are expected Thursday evening. If you see a storm, avoid staying outside as lightning can be very dangerous.
