SPOKANE, Wash.—After a warm finish to the weekend, Monday brought more seasonal temperatures in the 40’s.

The region will see a cold start to the day Tuesday. Morning temperatures will be right around freezing across the Inland Northwest.

Rain is expected Tuesday afternoon. High temperatures return to seasonal averages with a cooler day in the 40’s and mostly cloudy.

Tuesday brings several inches of snow accumulations to Cascade Mountain passes.

Look for about an inch of snow or less in north eastern Washington and Northern Panhandle valleys Tuesday afternoon. Snow should also accumulate in the Northern Panhandle mountains.

Wednesday will start to dry out, but will remain mostly cloudy with highs in the 40’s.
