SPOKANE, Wash.—Winter weather has made the roads in the area slick in some spots.

Tuesday brought heavy rain to the region after a morning a snowfall.

Leftover slush on the roads may have refrozen overnight.

Wednesday highs will be in the 30’s with a chance of snowfall.

Thursday the weather pattern will start to dry out with sunny and cold conditions for the holiday weekend.

Mountain snow is likely over the Idaho Panhandle and western Montana

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Idaho mountains until 7:00 a.m.

An Avalanche Warning is in effect for the northern Idaho mountains until Thursday at 6:00 a.m.
